With Doxillion Document Converter you can convert the most commonly used document type files between formats. These are PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF, HTML, ODT, and some well-known image files. The program supports batch conversion and performs this task in a swift and straightforward manner, without little or no intervention on your side.

Doxillion Document Converter is a tool that I would recommend for “quick and dirty” batch conversions, whenever time and quantity are of the essence. Conversion settings are so limited that they barely allow you to define the size of the output page. Thus, if you require to custom your document conversions carefully so that the original layout remains intact, or if you need to make sure that images and text are not damaged in the process, I would recommend you to try any of the more sophisticated document conversion tools out there. However, if what you need is a tool capable of converting a large amount of not-so-complicated text-based files into a specific format without having to worry about the outcome, you will find this tool a joy to play with.

Everything in this tool is simple and intuitive. You can design your conversion list by importing any number of individual files and entire folders, and select the output format of your choice. If you are not sure about which files to select, you will need to use a third-party tool to check the incoming documents beforehand, as Doxillion Document Converter offers no previewing capabilities. The program, however, will not let you choose different output types for individual items on your conversion list, which means that you will need to create as many conversion lists as output formats you require. If you happen to choose one of the image file formats supported for the output, you will be asked to install another of the tools offered by NCH to do the job. The same happens with the “Burn to disc” option, which is – to say the least – annoying.

If everything goes well, the program will convert all of your selected files in one quickly and uneventful process. I wish you luck with your PDF files – I didn’t manage to have any PDF converted into an Office format no matter how many different files and times I tried.

Doxillion Document Converter is not a tool for the very demanding user who looks for perfect document conversions. This is an app for those in need of a fast converter that is capable of processing a large amount of simple files completely unattended.
